  Insert TAB line 

Inserts a TAB line at you current location in the TAB file.   Increases the TAB file by 1 Line 

  Delete TAB line 

Deletes the current TAB line.  Reduces the TAB file by 1 line  
 
  Open text associated with current TAB line 

Each TAB line can have an associated text section.  This can provide help to someone who is learning the song.  This text will appear above the TAB line in the TAB file. 

  Cut a selected section of TAB line 

This will cut the selected area of the TAB line and transfer it into the EasyTAB clipboard to be pasted at a later time.  This is also useful for simply deleting a section of TAB.  The selected are is the TAB between the two pointer lines in the TAB section. 

Copy a selected section of TAB line 

This will copy the selected area of the TAB line and transfer it into the EasyTAB clipboard to be pasted at a later time.  The selected are is the TAB between the two pointer lines in the TAB section. 

Paste into selected section of TAB line 

This will paste the contents of the EasyTAB clipboard into the selected area of the TAB line.  The selected are is the TAB between the two pointer lines in the TAB section. 

Transfer fret board notes to TAB 

All the note information is transferred to the TAB line.  It will be inserted between the pointer lines.  If there is only 1 line then it will insert from that point. 

Insert text characters into TAB 

This allows you to insert a single TAB note width of text.   This is useful for specifying bends and slides. 

Insert TAB bar into TAB 

The bar is inserted at the current pointer location.  This is useful for showing the timing of a song. 

Select Finger number 

EasyTAB allows for finger number data to be contained in EasyTAB files.  This data is lost if file is saves as a standard .tab file 

    1 - First finger 
    2 - Middle finger 
    3 - Ring finger 
    4 - little (pinkie) finger 
    T - Thumb

make note playable 

A Red note will sound when played.  This button makes a note playable / red 

make not not playable 

A Black note is displayed but will not sound when played.  This is useful to show how a chord is held.
